The Challenge

Our client is developing several aesthetically pleasing, high-density residential developments with tight timeframes. They need to satisfy requirements from Ōtākaro, the government agency responsible for delivering, and adding value to, Anchor Projects and Crown Land in the Christchurch city rebuild. We were engaged to provide unit title and land surveying services.

The Solution

We assisted our client with the consent process and producing plans for consent. We prepared the Proposed Unit Development (PUD) plan from the architect’s design for the building consent application and final subdivision unit title consent application.

We provided a full range of survey set-out support to project managers and builders including providing certification for ground improvement works, setting out grid lines for contractors, providing building location certificates and setting out some infrastructure and landscape wall details.

Demand for these inner-city developments have been high and our client required us to complete the set-out requirements and the production of the PUD, Stage 1 and Complete Unit plans and relevant Council compliances in a timely manner. Since working on this project with Fletcher Living, we have worked on further Super Lots.
