Our values
Whānau led
At Eliot Sinclair, our values form the foundation of our company culture and shape everything we do, from client relationships to teamwork and community initiatives. Our values are championed by our directors and embraced by the whole team. Our commitment to honour our values ensures we deliver the highest standards of service, innovation, and support in all our projects.
Ethical Solutions
We are driven by sustainability.
We apply the highest standards and quality in our work because what we do today shapes tomorrow.
As a team we aim to act as role models for ethical behaviour, promoting integrity and accountability. We implement sustainable practices, setting an example by finding innovative solutions and demonstrating a commitment to solving complex problems ethically and responsibly.
Planting in our local community.
Rolling up our sleeves and getting muddy to help restore the Pūharakekenui/Styx River Esplanade in Ōtautahi/Christchurch. Over the last 3 years Eliot Sinclair has partnered with Trees For Canterbury and the Christchurch City Council, to plant over 4,000 natives. Helping enhance habitats for birds and aquatic species and create space for the community to grow.
Everything Shared
We collaborate.
Working together achieves the best outcomes.
As a team we actively seek opportunities to collaborate with other disciplines and regional offices. Organising team events and gatherings to foster a culture of inclusivity and cooperation within Eliot Sinclair.
Empowering women in construction
We recognise the pivotal role women have played in shaping our society and we’re dedicated to providing support as they continue to break barriers. To celebrate the achievement of women in our workforce and our community we proudly hosted an International Women’s Day breakfast seminar and sponsored the Women in Construction garden lunch hosted by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
Enduring Savvy
We are innovative.
We think outside the box to solve problems, and we are continuously improving our systems and processes.
We recognise innovative solutions that make a significant impact, regardless of the scale, by thinking outside the box and finding creative approaches to problem-solving. We aim to identify opportunities that improve our systems and processes, inspiring others to challenge traditional thinking and explore new possibilities.
Using technology to tread lightly
We are using innovative drone technology to create a picture of the ocean floor. Our unique drone dipping technology allows us to unobtrusively map the base of any body of water and at any level of clarity. Giving you a clear picture of your surroundings without disrupting the environment.
Empowering Support
We back each other.
We are respectful and loyal; we listen and contribute to a caring environment.
We provide support and guidance to colleagues. We act as mentors, offering valuable insights and advice to help others succeed. We go above and beyond to help others achieve their goals and create a supportive environment where individuals feel empowered to take on new challenges and grow.
Mental Health Awareness Week
In support of Mental Health Awareness Week 2023 we invited staff to partake in a week of fun, wellness focused activities. By opening up, sharing experiences and learning tools and strategies to support mental fitness we all benefit.
